Annual Performance

In 2005, Thailand Post had 13,180.15 million baht revenue, 12,316.04 million baht expense,
interests before taxes at 864.11 million baht, and income tax at 516.44 million baht. Its net
profit at 347.67 million baht reflected a rise from last year’s at 118.47 million baht or 51.69 %.

Increased net profit represented service enhancements and its employees’ integrity, thus
creating the overall revenue growth at 11.50 %, whereas the overall expense merely rose
at 10.20 %. Major revenues stood for 509.80 million baht or 5.39 % for an increase in
communication sectors and 417.97 million baht or  68.45 % in transport sectors .

The 516.44 million baht revenue tax saw a 119.83 million baht increase from 2004, due to its
operation with profit.

Financial status

As of December 31, 2005 Thailand Post held 15,631.42 million baht total assets, comprising
7,007.75 million baht current asset and 8,623.67 million baht non-current assets. Total
liabilities were projected at 5,809.72 million baht, comprising 5,007.44 million baht current
asset, and 802.28 million baht non-current asset. The shareholder’ equity was worth
9,821.70 million baht.

The total assets of 15,631.42 million baht plummeted in 2004 accounting for 450.72 million
baht. This was mainly due to a financial transfer to the provident fund and a reduction of
property, premises and equipment-net, which represented a cut in depreciation during the
year.

The total liabilities of 5,809.72 million baht plunged in 2004 amounting to 738.38 million baht.
Main reductions relied on a transfer of 2,482 employees from the staff pension fund to the
provident fund.

Given an analysis of liquidity, Thailand Post was relatively stable, with current asset at
7,007.75 million baht, and 5,007.44 million baht current liability. The current capital, after
deduction of payment of the current assets, stayed at 2,000.31 million baht.
